This is a recording of Dr. Ben Danielson answering questions from community members who attended a discussion about COVID-19 and caring for loved ones.

Dr. Danielson is a respected voice in the community who has called attention to many instances of racism in our healthcare institutions. He is a physician and clinical professor at the department of pediatrics, UW School of Medicine. For over 20 years, he was the medical director of the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic in Seattle's Central District. In November 2020, Danielson resigned this position, citing institutional racism and a resistance to change inherent in the leadership at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
