Healing Circles

A Healing Circle is a group of people who gather together with the intention of healing, learning and growing. A circle represents a continuum with no beginning and no end. Each Healing Circle is based in the intentions and goals of the group. Healing Circles allow people to share in healing and benefiting from the energy of those gathered.

Healing Circles offer people solitude and retreat, while simultaneously respecting the group’s restorative process. Focusing on physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Conflict Resolution Workshop for Immigrant Parents and their American Children

Peacebuilding starts at the home. We offer workshops for youth and their parents, with a focus on bridging the gap between immigrant parents and their American children. This workshop is designed to increase empathy between parents and their children and create a support system for both the parents and the children. The desired outcomes of this workshop are:

  • to teach children how to cope with cultural differences and support them in what is, for many, an identity crisis

  • to relieve the stress for children who are trying to balance many expectations, which affects their mental health and their ability to focus on school.

  • to help parents understand the reality of their children’s world, so they can be more supportive and understanding.
