About Us

Empowering Families.
Strengthening Communities. Building Brighter Futures.

At the Immigrant Women’s Community Center (IWCC), we believe that every individual and family deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported, and empowered to build a brighter future.

Headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, IWCC is a nonprofit organization serving immigrant and refugee women, children, and families. Through our Seattle and Bellevue offices, we provide direct services to over 300 families, offering compassionate, culturally responsive support. Our bilingual staff and access to interpreters across up to 80 languages help us overcome language barriers and ensure that families receive the understanding and assistance they deserve.

Our work goes beyond meeting immediate needs. From emergency assistance including rental and utility support, food security, and individualized case management to English language learning, mentorship, emotional well-being, youth leadership, and women's empowerment, we help families build stability, confidence, and independence.

Through workshops, training opportunities, and partnerships with community-based organizations and nonprofits across King and Snohomish counties, we connect families with essential resources, meaningful opportunities, and supportive networks that help them thrive.

We understand that starting over in a new country can be overwhelming. Guided by compassion, dignity, and cultural understanding, IWCC strives to ensure that no family faces these challenges alone.

Because when families thrive, communities grow stronger.

Mission and Values

IWCC’s mission is to provide community building, training, and direct services, primarily for immigrant women and their families, promoting financial independence, emotional health, and physical well-being.

The values we hold deeply include independence, humanity, inclusion, self-determination, and ensuring the dignity of others is protected.
