We hope that however you are spending this long weekend, it is spent with joy, rest, and community. To those observing it today, Happy Thanksgiving! We want to express our gratitude to all of you! Thank you for helping to build a community of compassion, diversity, and mutual support!

We also want to recognize that tomorrow is Native American Heritage Day. This holiday gives us a reminder and opportunity to commit to learning about and celebrating Indigenous Americans. If you're living in Eastside King County, that includes the Duwamish, Stillaguamish, and multiple Coast Salish nations. As we continue celebrating our many wonderful cultures, let's do our part to learn about these indigenous cultures and how we can support their important work.
